Hotel Description
Located near the sea and close to everything in town, the
well-established Inn offers clean, comfortable, affordable rooms in a
friendly atmosphere. In addition to the comforts of hot water, cable TV
and fans, each room has its own character and there are verandas large
enough so that nearly every guest can have their own space to relax and
hang out. There is a watchman every night providing added security to the
property. They owners are proud that they have so many returning
visitors and satisfied guests.
History & Owners The hotel was opened in 1984 by Mr. Charles Wagner who also had a career
in politics. He served as Minister of Works, Minister of Natural
Resources and as an area representative. His children grew up in the
hospitality industry and two of his grown children, Michelle and Carlo
are now running the hotel. Two of his other sons own and operate two
other hotels in town. In addition to the hotel, Michelle and Carlo help
with the Cable TV business and run a small grocery and bike shop next to
the Inn. They are more than willing to chat and help give guests an
excellent stay.

Location & Directions 1 Block from Central Park, Punta Gorda Town From the Texaco Station at the entrance to town, continue to the next street, King Street. Turn right and St. Charles Inn is located a few blocks up on the right, at the corner of King Street and Jose Maria Nunez Street.
