Pen is known as the "father of Punta Rock" and can be heard jamming on his guitar with his band during the November 19th celebrations. He is also an accomplished artist (now residing in Germany). Each year he sets up a show as a part of the Garifuna Settlement Day celebrations.

Phyllis is a strong woman of vision who loves directing people to get things done! She and her husband Roy started the first Garifuna Dance Group. Her unending community service work with the National Garifuna Council, Dangriga Branch and throughout the community has recently been recognized by Queen Elizabeth.

Raymong "Hamma" Gomez

Hamma means with them. He paints with oil and acrylics and aslo is a Garifuna recording artist. His first album was entitled "Garabali", which means "Breeze". Sometimes he is a guest musician and plays at the Smokey Mermaid Restaurant in Belize City. He is also a priest in training in the Anglican Church.
