The women's group formed a cooperative to sell their art works--baskets, embroidery, slate carvings and beadwork. The group is known as one of the most successful groups in the country. Their gift-shop also welcomes visitors and sells tickets to the Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve.

Mike is an accomplished artist specializing in using natural seeds, nuts and shells from Bullet Tree to make his jewelry. The cohune nut features prominently in his work but he also uses shell, cow horn and different types of wood. He is also an accomplished drummer--playing the congo and jimbey drums or just about any other kind of drum he can find!
