Hotel Description
Tina's Backpackers is a budget, colorful beachfront hostel, with
full-kitchen facilities, shared bathrooms and a tropical garden. The
budget rooms are shared bunk rooms with shared bath. For those who want
a bit more privacy, there are two private rooms with shared bath.
There is comfy furniture inside for lounging while outside there is a
tropical garden with hammocks, picnic tables, grill and a million dollar
view of the reef. There is also a beach deck over the water. All sun,
sea & fun activities can be arranged from the hostel.
History & Owners
Tina was born on Caye Caulker and her family is in the fourth generation
of residents on the island. She and her two sisters all own
accommodations on the caye. Having traveled extensively out of Belize,
Tina knows what it is like to travel on a budget and also understands
what makes a place feel like a home to the travel-weary backpacker. She
opened the business in 1998 because of the slow but steady increase in
demand for backpacker and hostel accommodations on the caye.

Location & Directions
Playa Asuncion, Caye Caulker Village
The hostel is a half-block away from the main arrival pier. Turn right and you will see it on the beach.
