periphery of Hopkins Village surrounded by 2 bodies of Lagoons and
pristine mangrove forest overlooking the beautiful Maya Mountains. The
ground is blanketed with white beach sand that is breath taking.

fishing.
History & Owners The name Palmento Grove was derived from the main vegetation of the land
that is palmetto trees and mangrove. It was decided to tweak the name a
bit and came up with Palmento Grove. The Palmetto Tree was our main focus
as it represents the tenacity of the Garifuna owners, be determined,
sturdy and ready to whether the challenges of the business world and
determine come out successful and stronger as a local native business
owners upping our game at every stage in order continuously enhance our
customers' experiences .

His passion and drive is to always make everyone feels that they are

Uwahnie Martinez - Is the daughter of the avid business man Eugene
Martinez who has been self-employed for the last 25 year. She is proud to
take up the task of making Palmento Grove a success story and a memorable

party, do business or simply have a conversation. A banker for 9 years
and an aspiring successful entrapeneur in the tourism industry that would

Location & Directions Hopkins Village Northwestern side of Hopkins, take the street in front of the Police station and proceed northwards, take a turn on the seventh road running westward towards the lagoon that feeds off the main road. Palmento Grove signage is clearly visible at the entrance of the road. Proceed due west on the road until you past a long concrete fence. Immediately beyond the fence is where Palmento Grove is located. Local Flavor
