Orchid Garden Eco-Village is located in a safe, tranquil area with large, warmly decorated rooms surrounded by incredible natural beauty. All rooms have A/C, two double beds, two tables, 4 chairs, 3 windows, a table light, ceiling fan, mahogany cabinet, and a private bath room with hot water and cold water shower.
Our facilities and programs include 18 hotel rooms, 2 two-room apartments, several houses, an Eco-Museum with a rainforest-inspired Eco-Restaurant, a Mushroom House, Butterfly Corridor, Green Iguana Sanctuary, Birding Courtyard, a Nature Savannah Trail a riverine eco-system and lowland rainforest Trail, a Sanctuary Swimming Pond and a Museum of History & Arts.
History & Owners
The Eco-Village is an experimental program for people who are interested in relocation in Belize. It was started on July 15th 2007 by Jason Liao and Christine Hsiang, who came to Belize in 1989 from Taiwan. Jason is a nature lover, while Christine prefers cooking, flower arrangement and writing. Orchid Garden Eco-Village is an endless experimental program for both of them, and they are always open to sharing their stories with visitors.

We are located 20 minutes drive west from the Belize International Airport and Belize City and 20 minutes drive East from the Belize Zoo on mile 14.5 Western Highway.
Rates
- Right by the Western Highway, our Eco-Museum admission fee is $2.50 US, complimentary with Hibiscus Iced Tea or Coffe. Our Museum of Tropical Treasures to show you the beauty of Nature in harmony with Belizean Culture.
- We serve Hibiscus Feasts for $12.50 US, which are large, healthy and delicious meals for our guests.
- Our 3 hour Eco-Village Tour is $25.00 US per person, including 5 programs: the Eco-Museum, the Edible Garden, The Nature Trail, the Museum of History and Arts, and the Hibiscus Feast. The Program is designed and allows our visitors to appreciate the beauty of Tropical Nature and the harmony of our culture.
- Eco-Night program is $125 US for two people. The program is designed for our guests to enjoy and relax in our tranquil and beautiful hotel for one night, visit the Eco-Museum, Butterfly Corridor, Mushroom House, the Aquaponics Organic System, Nature Trail, Museum of History and Arts, Night Jungle Walk, Swimming in our Sanctuary Pond, Sunrise Birding, and the Hibiscus Feast. This program feeds the guest's body and soul extremely well.
- Our 4 day inland Belize package tours include Lamanai Maya Ruins and New River Cruise, Cave Tubing, Belize Zoo and All Eco-Village Programs, the Delicious food , the Inspiring Tours and the beauty of inland Belize will be unforgettable during your Belize Trip.
