Located on the lagoonside of the peninsula, the guest house is located within the same building as a large bar and restaurant. There are units downstairs next to the action and food or, if guests prefer a little more privacy and quiet, there is also space upstairs. The upstairs room is a bunk-style room with a lovely wooden floor and a nice view of the lagoon to the back. All rooms have private bath and hot water. There is a large TV in the lounge/bar area and internet access is available on site. The rooms are also safe and secure with double locking doors.
History & Owners
The Creole word for ?love sickness? is Makobi. When the proprietor opened the hotel after Hurricane Iris in 2002, he adapted this word and named the hotel Macovy Blues.
