History & Owners Rollie Verde?s father, Jorge, has been in the tourism business much of
his life and so it was natural for him to decide to open a hotel when he
found out there was a need to offer more upscale accommodations to
foreign visitors who are developing the area. He and his wife Maria
opened the hotel in the year 2000. Krisami?s name came from a
combination of the names of their two daughters, Kristine and Samira.
