Inglewood Camping Grounds is the only camping site in Belize that provides RV utility hook-up (water, electricity) and sanitary dump stations. Tent camping is also welcome. There is a vast amount of space to rest in palapas while enjoying the natural scenery that surrounds the camping grounds. There are clean restrooms and hot showers.
History & Owners Born and raised in Belize, Greg Carillo is a prime example of someone who worked hard and seized opportunities to further his work experience and education. This eventually landed him in the Inglewood, California where he worked as an aerospace engineer and lived for 30 years. He retired and decided to return to Belize and open the camping grounds in 1999. He also runs a small electronic repair shop in San Ignacio.

Location & Directions Mile 68 1/4 Western Highway, San Ignacio-Benque Road The camp ground is located just two miles west of San Ignacio between town and the village of Succotz. By vehicle it takes about 1 ? hours to drive from the Belize airport to Inglewood. Driving west out of San Ignacio, you will see the sign on the left about two miles out of town.
Bus routes from Belize City, Belmopan, San Ignacio, and the Guatemalan border offer frequent service throughout the day; all buses going east and west along the Western Highway go right past Inglewood so just ask to be let off there.
