Different homestay families in Armenia host guest in their homes. Guest have the opportunity to truly experience Belize and develop relationships with the people of Belize. Some families have individual cabanas for guests; most families have electricity and provide fans to guests. Families and guests eat meals together.
Unlike most hotels and resorts, guests have the opportunity to learn about village life in Belize from first-hand experience. Hummingbird Homestays allows guests the opportunity to learn about the food, language, and culture of either the Maya or Hispanic people of Belize.
History & Owners The name is derived from the beautiful Hummingbird Highway, and has been hosting guests since 2000.
