Howler Monkey Lodge welcomes visitors to join them in their jungle experience. The lodge is nestled amidst lush jungle trees on a hilltop with a spectacular panorama of the historic Belize River in the heart of the Community Baboon Sanctuary. It is a family run eco-tourist facilty. As part of the jungle experience they offer excellent, hourly eco-friendly Belize River excursions via canoe or pontoon boat.

Location & Directions
Near sanctuary headquarters, Bermudian Landing Village
The lodge is very easy to find, just 20 minutes from the Belize?s Phillip Goldston International Airport (BZE) and 30 minutes from downtown Belize on very good roads. If you?re driving, follow the directions below. If you need a ride contact the lodge.

From the International airport or Belize City
Go north on the Northern Highway. About 5 miles past Ladyville, turn left towards Burrell Boom. Continue through Burrell Boom, and Scotland Half Moon, to Bermudian Landing. Look for the Howler Monkey Lodge sign on the left. (If you miss the turn and arrive at the Community Baboon Sanctuary headquarters, you have gone too far. Turn around and go back. We are less than ? mile east of the headquarters.) Turn left and continue down the driveway past the hardware store until you reach the lodge.

From San Ignacio, Belmopan or the south
Follow the Western Highway about a mile east of Hattleville. Turn left to Burrell Boom. Turn left (west) at Burrell Boom. Continue through Burrell Boom, and Scotland Half Moon, to Bermudian Landing. Look for the Howler Monkey Lodge sign on the left. (If you miss our turn and arrive at the Community Baboon Sanctuary headquarters, you have gone too far. Turn around and go back. We are less than ? mile east of the headquarters.) Turn left and continue down the driveway past the hardware store until you reach the lodge.
