Hotel Description
Our accommodations' setting is Natural Riparian Jungle and consists of
individual cabins, private bathrooms with hot and cold shower. These cozy
cabins have screened windows and they have two or three comfortable beds
with clean linens, pillows, towels, soap, shampoo, blankets, air
condition or fan. Some have a porch w/swing overlooking the Belize River
while other have a porch w/jungle view. Electricity in cabins are 110
volts/60cycles supplied 24hrs a day.
Our private dining room seats 30 guests and is not open to the general
public where we serve our guests home cooked meals from scratch family
style. Located also in our main building is our lounge area where we
have a TV with cable available for our guests to use. We have over 15
acres of private Riparian Jungle Forest trails available for our guests
to explore, after which they can enjoy a refreshing dip in our 18 feet by
30 feet by 4 feet deep swimming pool or go canoeing all of which is
included for free when you stay at Howler Monkey Resort.

Howler Monkey Resort is our jungle home, a microcosm of belizean culture
and a way of life for us. Here we attend to our guests personally and
take great pride in making them feel at home. We try our best to plan
every detail so as to allow our guests to fully enjoy all that Belize has
to offer in a comfortable jungle setting.
Over the past Eleven years we have had the honor of hosting eco-travelers
(couples, families, and groups) from all over the world. We would like to

Location & Directions Bermudian Landing Village We are very easy to find! We are 30 minutes from the Belize Phillip Goldson International Airport (BPGIA) in Ladyville Village and 45 mins from downtown Belize on very good roads. If you are driving, follow the directions below.
From the airport or Belize City.
* Go on the Northern Highway
* About 4 miles pass Ladyville, turn left before the police check point towards Burrell Boom Village
* Turn right immediately after the bridge (there is a Howler Monkey Resort sign on the left hand side pointing the way) and continue straight through Burrell Boom, and Scotland Halfmoon, to Bermudian Landing. (about 10 miles from bridge and after crossing two more bridges)
* Look for HOWLER MONKEY Resort sign on the left. (If you miss this turn and arrive at the Community Baboon Sanctuary museum you have gone too far. Turn around and go back. We are less than 1/4 mile east of the museum.)
* Turn right, pass the entrance gate, and WELCOME TO HOWLER MONKEY RESORT & BELIZE SOFT ADVENTURES. COME RIGHT IN.
From San Ignacio, Belmopan or South...
* Follow the Western Highway about 1 mile east of Hattieville
* Turn left at the round-a-bout (approximately mile 15) to Burrell Boom Village
* Turn left immediately before the bridge (there is a Howler Monkey Resort sign on the right hand side pointing the way) and continue straight through Burrell Boom, and Scotland Halfmoon, to Bermudian Landing. (about 10 miles from bridge and after crossing two bridges)
