Hopkins Inn
Hopkins Village, Stann Creek District
Hotel Description
Tucked away under the coconut trees and red hibiscus hedges is the small, comfortable, home-away-from-home of Hopkins Inn. With space for only eleven guests, the service is customized and personalized. The fully-tiled cabanas offer comfortable beds, locally-made furniture, and lots of windows. The high, hardwood ceilings give the cabanas a light, cool, and airy feeling. The Inn is located directly on the beach in the center of the village.
History & Owners Greg and Rita came to Hopkins in 1994 and started with two cabanas. It is the first and only bed and breakfast in the village. Two more cabanas were added over the years. Greg came up with the name for the hotel. Greg and Rita live on the same property as the inn and so they are able to take care of their guests. Greg also serves as a tour guide.
