History & Owners The Simmons family named the property after the family member, Ethel, who opened the hotel with five rooms in the late 1970?s. They used the family house and the hotel maintains the original feel of a home. Ethel?s son Cyril and his wife Beatrice now run the hotel. Cyril is a Justice of the Peace, is active in the community and can often be seen around town. Cyril and Beatrice love sharing their lives and culture with their guests!
