Hotel Description
The apartment and house units have the feel of a cottage or cabana and
rent by the week or month. They are individual wooden structures on
stilts among flowering plants and colorful foliage with a living room and
kitchen, one or two bedrooms and a front veranda. All units are
fully-furnished, including a kitchen, refrigerator, stove, TV, hot water
and a private bathroom. The location on the lagoon side is quiet,
peaceful and an ideal location to watch the setting sun.
History & Owners
This family decided to go into the business around 1987. Mr. Heredia was
into fishing and they reinvested the money into this property, which is
named after him. Mrs. Emelda Chan (his wife) is the woman who makes the
business happen. She is proud to be her own boss, to be independent and
to be able to say, ?I did this myself!?.

Location & Directions
Calle del Sol, Caye Caulker Village
The main office for the rentals is located at the owner?s house. From the water taxi dock, walk straight from the dock, cross the main street and Heredia?s is on the left side toward the end of the next block. There is a sign on the fence. The actual cabanas/apartments are located on the lagoon side of the soccer field. From the owner?s house, turn right at the next street and go until you see the soccer/football field. The units are located on the east side of the field, behind the fence.
