Hotel Description
Evan's Place Guest House is like a home-away-from-home, minus cable TV
and Internet. The hotel has four, comfortable, spacious rooms, hot &
cold water, private bath, and air conditioners in all rooms. Each also
has a refrigerator, microwave and coffee-maker. The beach is just 35
feet away and beach chairs are provided. They can arrange tours, fishing
trips, dive trips, you name it, Evan's Place will put it together for
you.
History & Owners
Mr. Evan Bull, Sr. grew up in Placencia and then went abroad for school
and work. After a career in international labour relations in Chicago,
USA, he came home to Placencia in 2002. He has done a lot of traveling
and put together what he likes about various accommodations into his own,
with the goal of making guests feel at home. Although he lived outside
of Belize for a number of years, the genuine Belizean hospitality was not
taken out of him. He extends warmth and friendship to his guests, many
of whom return again and again as happy guests--and friends.

Location & Directions
Placencia Village, Placencia Village
From the southern end of the village, walk up the sidewalk about 5 minutes and you will see the hotel right in back of the Cozy Corner Hotel & Restaurant. From the main road, look for the attractive sign (across from Daisy's Ice Cream Parlor) and follow the path to Evan's Place.
