Guests are welcomed "home" at D'Nest Inn, a charming, Caribbean style
home with gracious hosts and an English flower garden. Gaby and Oty,
your hosts, are committed to providing the most excellent service
possible with a warm, friendly and personal touch. Three individual
bedrooms are uniquely decorated with antique furniture and plush linens.
Gaby and Oty go the extra mile to make the rooms attractive and guests
comfortable. Outside is equally inviting. Sitting areas by the water
are ideal for watching the numerous butterflies and birds attracted to
the garden or just relaxing and feeling close to nature.
Each morning, coffee is ready by 6:30 and guests can meander down to the
dining room for breakfast. Guests join others from around Belize and the
world while savoring fresh fruits, breads and a full breakfast. With
Oty's contagious laughter, Gaby's inquisitive questions and lively
conversation from guests, half of the morning sometimes passes by and
strangers become friends.
D'Nest Inn is a magical, restful world away from the hustle and bustle of
Belize City while still providing easy access to the city, cayes, and
inland.
History & Owners
Gabriel (Gaby) and Oty absolutely love having guests in their home.
After Gaby's retirement from a career in banking in 1992, he and Oty
decided to convert their home into a bed and breakfast. Over the years,
they have collected Belizean antique furniture which is now used in the
rooms. Oty's love of gardening, decorating and cooking, combined with
Gaby's administrative background make them an ideal team to run a bed and
breakfast. From the moment guests walk through the gate, they are at
home here. "I take care of people just like I take care of my plants",
says Oty. Once guests see the garden it is evident they will be taken
care of quite well!
With the numerous birds in the area and their desire to create a cozy,
comfortable, and safe "nest" for guests, they decided to name the bed and
breakfast "D'Nest Inn".

Location & Directions
#475 Cedar St., Belama Phase 2, Belize City
From the Northern Highway coming from the airport turn right onto Chetumal Street, by Grace Kennedy & Scotiabank Belama Branch. At the first crossroad, turn right onto Albert Hoy Street. Immediately after passing the Belama Police Station, turn left onto Sir Sandy Hunter Street. From edge of the football (soccer) field you can see your "nest" near the right corner of the field. Continue along the football field to the end of the street and turn right onto Cedar Street. The house is the last one on the left with a large sign welcoming you to D'Nest Inn.
