Our tastefully and uniquely decorated guesthouses are located on the edge
of Corozal Town. We are nestled in a quiet residential
neighborhood with a fantastic water view of Corozal Bay. We offer
guests clean, comfortable suites loaded with extras that demonstrate the
owners attention to detail.
The Copa Banana consists of two
complete homes. Both have a upscale
home-like environment with sea view & beach access. We offer the warm
hospitality of a traditional guesthouse while providing our guests a
private place to relax, enjoy the ambiance or even shut out the rest of
the world. Let the gentle warm sea breeze swing you in a hammock among
the coconut trees or under the lighted palapa by the bay. Stroll among
the variety of flowering foliage and fauna. Try out our water toys, catch
a wave or just sit back and relax on our natural sand beach or our
swimming pool. Take a leisurely stroll around Corozal with the free
bicycles included with your suite.
All five suites have their own
distinct personality. One is sure to match yours. Suites are furnished
with either queen or twin size beds and private baths. Each has cable
television, ceiling fans and air conditioning. Bathrooms feature lots of
hot water, soaps and plush towels. Each guest house has a full kitchen,
dining and living room fully equipped for your personal convenience. Each
morning complimentary coffee, teas and juices are offered. Our
accommodations are hard to beat! Our goal is to make your stay with us a
memorable and enjoyable one.
History & Owners
This distressed property was completely renovated into two new
beautiful guesthouses with a feel of a "home away from home atmosphere
"for the general public to stay. While the extensive renovations were
underway, the owners sent out an email to their friends and family asking
for their help. In the email was a "Name That Guesthouse" contest. All
kinds of response started pouring in. Ultimately the decision was the
Copa Banana. It was very catchy and easy to remember. It has really been
a hit.

409 Bay Shore Drive-Corozal, Corozal Town
The Copa Banana is conveniently located 2 blocks off the Northern Highway on the south edge of Corozal Bay. Turn south on Almond Drive until you reach the "T" in the road. Watch for our signs. Turn left towards the Bay onto Bay Shore Drive. Continue along the Bay until you see us. We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood. You can't miss the banana yellow homes!
