Circle C Inn
Punta Gorda Town, Toledo District
Hotel Description
If you want to feel welcomed and treated like family, then this affordable accommodation is right up your alley. The hotel is located on a quiet and safe street about three blocks from the center of town. The simple, standard rooms are clean and some have private bath and TV while others have shared baths. The accommodation is basic but the extraordinary thing about Circle C is its hostess, Aurora. She does everything she can to make sure guests feel comfortable and satisfied. She enthusiastically shares her experiences with those who want to learn from her making this more of a "homestay" type of experience.
History & Owners Nimrod and Aurora Coe had many visiting friends remark that there were very few hotels in the PG area and so this motivated the Coes to open the hotel 1992. The Circle in the hotel name represents their family and the ?C? is for their last name, Coe. Nimrod stays busy with his small neighborhood grocery store on the same property. Aurora is more involved in the hotel and loves her plants and medicinal herbs in the backyard. Aurora?s smile is contagious and she treats her guests like family. She loves to show people around and share her rich Garifuna culture with visitors. Aurora also spends time doing volunteer service, especially to benefit the elderly of the community.
