Bull's Mahogany Beach Cabanas
Placencia
Hotel Description
Four large-size cabins, located on the beach, provide privacy and comfort for guests. Each cabin has a veranda where guests can relax and enjoy the views and the sea breeze. Inside, the spacious cabins have large windows that allow lots of sea breeze and natural lighting. There are two double beds, a fan and a private bath with hot water. The location is ideal for the independent traveler who doesn?t need a lot of attention but yet still wants good service at an affordable price.
History & Owners Lester and Collin Bull are the father and son team who run these cabins. Mr. Bull, Sr., loves to fish and goes any time that he can get out. In his spare time he builds Adirondack beach chairs. Prior to the hurricane they had a restaurant and an Internet cafe?, but after it was destroyed, they opted to go into the hotel business instead. When asked how they decided on the name for the accommodation, Mr. Bull replied, ?Only the good Lord knows what my son thought.? Actually since the buildings are made of mahogany, this sparked the name. The property is managed by their neighbors, Veronique and Lance McKenzie.
