offers excellent and friendly customer service. The lodge is a wealth of
well-displayed information on area attractions and tours offered. In the
evenings, the outside veranda becomes the extended living room with
Louise and the guests often congregating to relax and discuss the events
of the day.
History & Owners Settlers from the coastal community of Bluefields, Nicaragua came to
settle in Dangriga and the neighborhood became known by the same name.
Louise Belisle decided to keep the name when she opened the lodge in
1994. Louise and her mother live on site and stay busy running the
hotel. Aside from the work of running this top-notch budget hotel,
Louise loves interior decorating, painting and crocheting.
