Lucky Strike Village is located at mile 30 ½ on the Old Northern Highway, just three miles from the Maya Site of Altun Ha.
Getting to & Around
By Bus
The regular bus service leaves Belize City at 5:00 a.m. and arrives at Lucky Strike Village at 6:30
am. Take the Maskall Bus and ask the driver to let you off in Lucky Strike Village. The bus
leaves Lucky Strike at 6:30 pm to return to Belize City. Call Novelos Bus Service to verify the schedule, since it may change from time to time.
By Vehicle or Bike
For private vehicles or bikers the village is a 32 - mile ride from Belize City. Follow the Northern Highway until the cut off for the Old Northern Highway, just past the village of Sand Hill. Follow the road until you reach Lucky Strike.

Activities
Visit Altun Ha Maya Site: Certainly the most popular destination near the village is this ancient Maya site, famous for being home to the largest jade head found in Belize. The site is popular for cruise ship tours and so it is best viewed in the tranquility of early morning or late afternoon.
Farm & Wildlife Observation Garden: A local eco-tourist resort, Pueblo Escondido offers a view at sustainable farming that draws on the traditions of the Maya and combines them with modern practices.
